Happy Labour Day, ya'll!
I have this love-hate relationship with the month of May. Everything was really perfect and i love May the most of all months till things start to change.
The reason why May is such a wonderful month is because 1st of May marks the start of my parents blissful marriage. Happy 25th wedding anniversary mom and dad! (we're gonna celebrate this day at The Mushroom Pot in a while, yay)
May is also the month i bid goodbye to the yellow thingy with the red triangle in the centre. Byebye P-plate!
Need i say more? Im born in May! Im a May baby!
But i hate May because it reminds me of the last breakup 3 years ago. =(
The other day, Meiting asked me when will i ever be attached. sighsigh, a question everyone is asking me these days. It got me thinking for awhile and now i have a stand.
Im not looking for a boyfriend, to be my boyfriend. Not looking for a guy to just be there by my side now and then or things like that. Im looking for a man, who will in turn be my husband. Im looking for a husband, not a boyfriend.
Sounds like im too young for one aye? Well, not really. I may only be turning 20 in 20 days, but after 4 or 5 years of dating, its time to tie the knot heh?
That is why when im looking for a partner, i really go into details in every aspect. My expectations are really high.
Though im not born with a silver spoon, at least i grew up in the environment where i do not have to worry over monetary issues. My dad may not be a rich tycoon, but at least he's able to let this family of 5 live in peace and we (the children) do not have to pay for our own bills at all, even up till now.
Yes im fortunate, and i want my children next time to be as fortunate as i am, or maybe even more. I want them to live their life with no monetary troubles and have everything they need, the best of them.
So my husband to be, has gotta be a very capable man. And now, the guy i look for has gotta be someone that is gonna have a bright future.
Its not that hard to find, is it?
